Dutch Caribbean Field
The Dutch Field in the Caribbean consists of the countries of Suriname and Aruba.
The Dutch Field is the newest of the four fields in the Caribbean. It has tremendous growth opportunities. With no missionaries serving in the Dutch Caribbean the growth, health, and leadership of the churches is indigenous.
Aruba is the latest country the Nazarene church entered in the Caribbean. A new work began in 2000. It is led by pastor Carlo Moise and the church is striving to learn better how to follow Jesus and what it means to do so in the Nazarene Holiness tradition.
The Dutch Field has multiple languages represented in its churches. Included in those are Dutch, English, Haitian Creole, Papiamento, Spanish, and Taki-Taki. This diverse Field needs your prayers and support.
Rev. Curt Luthye is the Field Strategy Coordinator for the Dutch Caribbean. He began this assignment in 2006.
