Nazarene World Mission :: Africa

Thank you to all who have responded to the string of hurricanes recently with prayers and resources. There are still ways you can help.

The Caribbean Communications Office wants to offer a video from this week. Click here to view and download this video. Please feel free to use it in your services and to promote prayer for Caribbean Nazarenes.

As Hurricane Ike turns south, parts of the Bahamas are facing its effects even now, and the people and churches in Cuba are bracing themselves since the category-4 storm is set to sweep across the entire island.

As Hanna's flood waters in Haiti recede, the people there are faced with the daunting task of clean-up and recovery. The storm took the lives of more than 500 people and affected the lives of approximately 600,000 others. For an article (with video) that details what they're dealing with, click here.  You can also click here for new photos from Haiti.

Here are some more ways you can help.

Pray for the safety of our Nazarene brothers and sisters, as well as people the local churches can help through this trial.
