Work and Witness:
We have two districts in Jamaica the East and the West. Both have wonderful district facilities that can host teams of around 20 persons. Both districts have several projects that are on-going that you could assist us with.

Bottled Water is available to purchase.
Almost all construction is block and concrete.
US Citizens: A valid passport (no visa required) is required to enter Jamaica.
Canadian Citizens: A valid passport (no visa required) is required to enter Jamaica.

This is an estimated expense and itinerary for a 10 day, 9 night, Work and Witness trip to Jamaica. This schedule can be used as a guideline for any type of ministry a team may choose; for example construction, evangelism, medical, etc. Keep in mind that this is only a guideline, and that each team’s budget and schedule will depend on the project selected, actual airfare cost, number of members on the team, length of stay, and type of free day activities.
1. Recommended Project Fund: $ 9,000 -$15,000
2. Personal Costs: (This amount paid prior to departing to Jamaica)
- Air Travel: approximately = $ 600
- W&W Insurance $ 3.25 per day X 10 days = $32.50
- Food and Snack items that the team will carry
- Team T-Shirt
Approx. Subtotal = $ 632.50
On-Island Expenses : (This amount paid to Church of the Nazarene, Jamaica West District)
- Ground Transportation $15 per day x 10 = $ 150
- Meals (3 square catered meals) $20 per day x 10 = $ 200
- Lodging ( triple occupancy) $15 per night X 9 = $ 135
- Free Day ( Beach/Waterfalls) $15 per day X 2 = $ 30
Approx. Subtotal = $ 515
Combined Total = $1147.50

- Saturday: Free Day for Beach/Waterfalls/Golf/Shopping/Relax
- Sunday: Divine Worship Service
- Monday: Work/Evangelize in Day
- Tuesday: Work/Evangelize in Day
- Wednesday: Work/Evangelize or Free Day—Worship in Evening
- Thursday: Travel Home
